Our Products

Billions of dollars are poured into the beverage industry every year,
and it’s not hard to guess why. In our fast paced, ever-moving world, energy levels are often in low supply, which is why coffee,
soda, and sugary drinks are within reach virtually everywhere. While these drinks are usually effective at giving us that boost we
need in the moment, they come at a cost: a quick energy burst followed by a crash. Most of these drinks contain too much sugar
and little to no nutritional value. What we really need is something that provides long-lasting energy without the side effects.
For centuries, matcha has been known for its natural, long-lasting energy and antioxidant properties. At Unicity, we have taken those built-in advantages and elevated them to the next level.

As a source of caffeine, B vitamins, and L-theanine, Premium Matcha will give you the afternoon pick-me-up you need without the crash that often follows other energy drinks or the jittery effects

Featured ingredients
Matcha:
A type of green tea (Camellia sinensis) that
is shade-grown and prepared in a way that
allows the leaves to retain higher amounts
of the important compounds that make
matcha so good for you. While green tea is
prepared by allowing the tea bag to steep in
hot water, matcha is prepared by grinding
the entire leaf into a fine powder before being
mixed with water. This unique preparation
results in more bioactive components,
such as epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a
polyphenol. EGCG is a component of matcha
that supports antioxidant activity.
L-theanine:
L-theanine is an amino acid that has
beenshown to promote a sense of mental
calm and focus. As such, it has been shown
to help counter jitters caused by caffeine.
In addition, L-theanine is also particularly
concentrated in matcha (as opposed to
other green tea) due to its unique harvesting
methods.
Vitamin B complex:
B vitamins are essential vitamins in our diets
that play an important role in the conversion
of food into energy

FAQ's
What does ceremonial-grade matcha mean?
Ceremonial-grade matcha tea refers to the quality of the
matcha tea based on the way the matcha tea leaves are
harvested and collected.
Ceremonial-grade matcha tea uses leaves which are
younger and shade-grown. Shade-grown leaves contain
higher amounts of EGCG, chlorophyll, and L-theanine as the
lack of sunlight forces the plant to produce more important
compounds. The usage of younger plant leaves also
improves on the matcha experience as younger leaves are
more tender, delicate, and sweet.
This overall method of preparation helps give matcha its
vibrant, jade green color, pleasant aroma, sweetness, and
smooth texture.
Culinary-grade matcha tea, on the other hand, is a lower
quality of matcha that does not use younger or shadegrown leaves.
Who should take Premium Matcha?
Premium Matcha is recommended for healthy adults
over the age of 18. It is not suitable for pregnant or nursing
women, children or people sensitive to caffeine.
How much Premium Matcha is safe to consume daily?
Since Premium Matcha contains caffeine, it is not
recommended to drink more than three servings a day.
Consumers should also take into account other forms or
sources of caffeine that they are taking.
How much caffeine is in Premium Matcha?
As caffeine is naturally found in matcha tea leaves, the
amount of caffeine per serving of Premium Matcha is not
standardized.
